About the book Stand Up

Jennie Lee is a fictional character through whom the author explores life stories to inspire, share and encourage strength in situations that all of us experience. The first one, ‘Stand Up’, is based on the author’s own brutal brush with coercive behaviour as a young mum. The story is an honest, open recount which aims to encourage people to stand up to bullying and abuse, wherever it may be happening.
